The Max Reger Foundation of America is a not-for-profit
organization that creates opportunities to promote the music and
legacy of Max Reger, as well as a broad spectrum of music to the
present day. It is our aim to provide avenues for music
education and performance for children and professionals within
the United States.
We achieve these goals by granting education awards to young
children, by sponsoring recitals and concerts presented by
students and professionals, sponsoring music research projects
and commissioning new works by talented composers.
Currently, the Foundation’s emphasis is on the Young Artists
Awards Program, which provides scholarships to talented,
less-fortunate inner-city school children who deserve a superior
musical education.
Future plans include programs that benefit the community in the
following ways:
o The community at large in the United States, where
financial assistance will afford
recitals or concerts.
o Scholars who need funds to accomplish their research
objectives.
o Performance artists who require a venue and / or
financial assistance to provide recitals
or concerts.
o Composers, as an avenue to share their musical
creativity.
o Institutions wanting to provide music recitals and
concerts but are ineligible for
corporate or government assistance. |
